Alexandra is our Head Chiropodist at the Royal City Foot Clinic. She first became interested in healthcare after pursuing a Biology degree with specialization in Health Science from Trent University. Alexandra then relocated to Guelph to pursue her Masters Degree in molecular biology, in which she studied the influenza virus. After completing her graduate studies and realizing she preferred a clinical setting over a laboratory, she enrolled in the Chiropody Program at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences. She has been in practice since 2016.

Alexandra is dedicated to working with her patients to help them with pain-free mobility. She is committed to keeping her knowledge current, and regularly engages in continuing education to maintain a pulse on new and emerging treatment modalities for her patients. Alexandra is passionate about biomechanics, and specializes in treating plantar fasciitis, ankle instability, and other chronic pain conditions. She recently became certified as a “Barefoot Training Specialist” and is integrating foot strengthening and exercise into her pain management plans to optimize pain relief for patients. She also performs plantar fasciotomy surgery in the office when necessary.

In her downtime, Alexandra loves cooking, getting outside, running, and hanging out with her husband Nathan and two young children Nova, and Felix.

Wendy Hoxha is a licensed Chiropodist at the Royal City Foot Clinic. She has previous hands-on experience working at the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Waterloo Foot Clinic and the Diabetes Center at Health Sciences North (in Sudbury, ON). Prior to completing her Chiropody degree at the Michener Institute at University Health Network (UHN), she completed a Biomedical Biology Degree at Laurentian University in her hometown of Sudbury, ON.

Wendy has been interested in medicine from a young age. She has always wanted to lend a helping hand and become a member of the medical field. Outside of Chiropody, Wendy has a wide variety of hobbies such as travelling, hiking, cooking, sketching and spending time with friends and family. If you have any podiatric concerns, Wendy is looking forward to meeting you!

Jasmine is the Advanced and Diabetic Foot Nurse at Royal City Foot Clinic. With a passion for holistic health and wellness - she aims to hold balance between an open, investigative mind, and building compassionate rapport, for an optimal footcare experience.

Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Jasmine stayed local and received her Practical Nursing diploma at Conestoga College. She continued to work for years within facility, community, and clinic settings - where she was drawn to geriatrics, mental health, and specialization in dementia care. After witnessing an overall lack of attention to foot and lower limb health in community and facility alike (and a clear demand for foot specialists), she decided to pursue footcare nursing and certify in the Basic and Advanced Footcare Management course through Mohawk College. Following her studies, Jasmine has been privileged, and is grateful, to have been mentored by our very own Head Chiropodist, Alexandra Elliot!

Jasmine values altruism and is an active member of her neighbourhood social committee and church community. She has volunteered in the USVI as a member of a Disaster Relief program, and intends to continue to serve locally and globally, throughout her lifetime. Her hobbies include: playing sports (especially: soccer, hockey and baseball); puzzles and board games; hiking and exploring; culturally diverse activities (learning dance, food, language, and music).
