When the pandemic began, Juliana turned in response to a nursing position with Waterloo Region Public Health Vaccine and Preventable Disease Program. Having previously worked for the Region as a Lifeguard, and living in this community all her life, she considers it an honor to care for the Region’s citizens. Juliana enjoys time spent at her ‘home away from home’; the family cottage in the Kawarthas. She Lifeguarded here for several summers, taking a special interest in being a Swimming Instructor to children on the autism spectrum. Seeing her students develop in their love of the water and achieve goals they never thought possible was most rewarding. The Kawarthas also brought Juliana another great love by meeting her amazing husband there!
Time well spent for Juliana means relaxing with her loved ones around a campfire. Her husband, Clay, is an aspiring Firefighter and is known for his love of bringing others together around the campfire. You will also find Juliana tending to her garden and being adventurous in her love of cooking and baking. Juliana is excited to meet and provide care for her clients at Waterloo Foot Clinic. She values the gift of mobility and sees foot care as a healthy lifestyle choice. She prides herself in a thorough and caring approach. Bringing to her position a strong skill set including relief from painful ingrowns, warts, fungal nails, corns, callouses and more.
