Wendy Hoxha is a licensed Chiropodist at the Royal City Foot Clinic. She has previous hands-on experience working at the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Waterloo Foot Clinic and the Diabetes Center at Health Sciences North (in Sudbury, ON). Prior to completing her Chiropody degree at the Michener Institute at University Health Network (UHN), she completed a Biomedical Biology Degree at Laurentian University in her hometown of Sudbury, ON.

Wendy has been interested in medicine from a young age. She has always wanted to lend a helping hand and become a member of the medical field. Throughout high school and university, she has provided hundreds of hours of volunteer service at her local hospital (Health Sciences North). She also travelled to Cuzco, Peru in 2014 to provide assistance to hospital personnel at Clinica Salud Zarzuela. A former classmate in the field of Chiropody suggested she apply to the program due to her caring attitude, effective communication skills and interest in anatomy and biomechanics. As a graduate of the program, her current podiatric interests include foot surgeries, wound management, wart treatments, and diabetic foot care.

Outside of Chiropody, Wendy has a wide variety of hobbies such as travelling, hiking, cooking, sketching and spending time with friends and family. If you have any podiatric concerns, Wendy is looking forward to meeting you!
